Representative Experience
My practice focuses primarily on eviction proceedings and comprehensive landlord representation, where I have managed a high volume of Cook County matters from initial notice through judgment and enforcement, including navigating the Early Resolution Program, contested RLTO defenses, and post-possession settlement structures. Additionally I routinely handle motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, including preparing dispositive motions in pending civil litigation, conducting depositions of key witnesses, and organizing trial-ready exhibit packets and witness examinations for bench trials. In addition to eviction work, I represent clients in broader civil and commercial litigation matters, including tort disputes and small claims actions, where I develop case strategy, manage discovery, and advocate in court.
My experience also extends to niche but complex proceedings such as foreclosure surplus fund petitions in Chancery Division, where I have successfully assembled evidentiary records and navigated court-specific requirements to position matters for turnover. Across these matters, I focus on efficient, results-oriented representation, leveraging strong procedural knowledge and practical litigation strategy to achieve favorable outcomes for my clients.

We represent property owners and businesses in municipal and administrative enforcement proceedings throughout Chicago and surrounding areas. Business violation cases, often initiated by city departments such as Buildings, Business Affairs, or Health, can carry substantial fines, operational restrictions, and compliance obligations if not addressed properly. Our firm handles all aspects of these matters, including reviewing citations and inspection reports, representing clients at administrative hearings, negotiating reduced penalties and compliance timelines, and working toward efficient resolutions that protect ongoing business operations.
Business Violations
When a property is sold through foreclosure and the sale generates proceeds exceeding the underlying debt, the former owner or other entitled parties may have a legal right to recover those surplus funds. We represent clients in preparing and prosecuting Petitions for Turnover of Surplus Funds in courts including the Circuit Court of Cook County and surrounding jurisdictions. Our services include reviewing title and lien priority, preparing petitions and supporting exhibits, handling notice requirements, and advocating for clients through the court process to ensure recovery of funds to which they are legally entitled.
